Royal Photographic Society Licentiate
I am honored, thrilled, and very proud to have received my Royal Photographic Society Licentiate Distinction recently. For those who don't know, the RPS is a prestigious group based in the UK with members around the world. They offer support, a series of workshops, and discussions of a broad range of photographic subjects. More information is at RPS.org
Distinctions are awarded to members after an arduous evaluation of 10 images based on camera work and technical quality, visual awareness, communication, and overall impression. A further point is how the images relate to each other in a presentation plan. The success rate is between 50-60 percent, so I'm glad to have made the cut.
The presentation plan is above.
